The Ladies

The ladies of our church are the backbone of our community, their love to each other and their bonding is coming from their commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ, and as a testimony to His love.

The Fathers

The fathers have always been a great support for the community. Their commitment and love to their families and to the church are exemplary.

The Choir

Everyone loves the Choir in our church. They do their best always to be at the level of the responsibility. They prepare their homework in training and prayer to be able to serve the Lord and the community from that choir stand.

The Sunday School

We are proud of our Sunday School teachers and students. The mission of the Saint George Sunday School is to be instrumental in the process of fostering a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Sunday School staff will interactively teach biblical truths of salvation and partner with parents and family to help shape the Orthodox values of their children.

The SOYO

The SOYO is a continuation of the Sunday School Mission. The SOYO Movement seeks to integrate each young person fully into the life of the Church through a deeper devotion to the Holy Orthodox Church, its faith, canons and worship. The SOYO are called to be examples:
* In Worship according to the sacramental life of the Church, a personal prayer life and commitment to reading the Holy Scripture.
* In Witness through expressing their faith to others and inviting them share the Orthodox experience of Christ in one’s life.
* In serving their community emulating Christ Himself in this honor.
* In Fellowship by gathering and showing love for one another and promoting the unity in mind and in spirit.

The Young Adults Ministry

The Young Adults Ministry is another witness to the effectiveness of the Sunday School and of the SOYO. How lovely is to see those young adults bounding together and facing the new challenge of life equipped with the strength that comes from the living experience of the word of God as found in the Holy Bible and assimilated and lived in the Holy Living Tradition of the Orthodox Church.

The Look Of The Church

The inside look of our Church is the standard look of every Orthodox Church where you find the Beautiful Door or the Royal Door at the center, the icon of Christ to the right, the icon of the Theotokos to the left, beside the icon of Lord Jesus Christ is the icon of John the Baptist and beside the icon of the Theotokos is the icon of the Patron of the Church St. George the Trophey Bearer.
