Teen SOYO consists of young teens of the ages 12-19. Teen SOYO seeks to integrate each young person fully into the life of the Orthodox Church through the combination of Worship, Witness, Service and Fellowship. Through these, the teens have the opportunities to form spiritual and social bonds between each individual so that a profound and life giving relationship with Jesus Christ and His Holy Church.

We have an incredible team of directors, officers, and teens that come together and work towards fulfilling the missions of Worship, Witness, Service, and Fellowship by organizing and facilitating events. Our teens are continuing to grow. We meet every Sunday during Sunday School, which is held after divine liturgy. In addition, we have monthly meetings.

Our teen officers have worked hard over a span of several months to fundraise and refurbish the teen room. Our teens would like to thank everyone who has sponsored, donated, and supported them through the process. This room allows for a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for the teens to come together for worship and fellowship, growing closer to the faith and with each other.

With the collaboration of the Upland Police Department, St. George Teen SOYO assembled and personally delivered thanksgiving foods to over 50 different families. We were humbled to experience such a beautiful opportunity to give back to those in need. There is nothing like working together as a community; it’s really beautiful. HUGE Thank you to everyone who has sponsored, donated, supported us, came to lend a hand, and experienced this with us. We wouldn’t have been able to make this happen without you. We are truly grateful!
