In 1987, our church started as a mission with Father James Haddad, as a mission from St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Los Angeles. His Grace Bishop Anton, on behalf of his Eminence Metropolitan PHILIP, formed the mission, giving us our name, St. George. We celebrated together the Divine Liturgy in various locations until we were blessed with our permanent home. Through the efforts, prayers, and support of our parishioners, we purchased our current church property on September 5, 1997. Father Luke Matar was our priest from 1989 to 1996. In May of 2004, our church altar was consecrated during a special dedication ceremony celebrated by his Eminence Metropolitan JOSEPH.

Our parish was blessed with Father George Manneh, who was our parish priest from 1998 to 2017 and subsequently retired.

In 2017, our parish was once again blessed with Father Mansour Azar who is now the Pastor of our parish.
